I thought I would start a blog to be a place where I could collect my thoughts about my experiences leaving the Mormon church. I left the church earlier in the year, due to my serious concerns about the truthfulness of the historical narrative the church has offered. I will add entries outlining the process of leaving the church in later posts (my de-conversion, I guess). I want to retain friendships from the church. I also want there to be a place where my friends that remain can go to understand why I left without feeling awkward in asking.
